This Saturday, February 4, 2017, the City of Brampton, various leaders of local Islamic organizations, leaders of other religious and interfaith groups, and local representatives of different levels of government will be hosting a solemn memorial service dedicated to the victims of the Quebec City mosque shooting. This will take place inside the Brampton City Hall on 2 Wellington Street West (corner of Main and Queen), starting at 6pm. This will be a time to join in prayer and remembrance of the victims and their families and friends, to seek comfort and consolation in each other, to strengthen our community bonds, and to observe Muslim and Canadian values of tolerance, respect, and peace. We humbly ask that you join us at this free event and that you invite your family, friends, and neighbors to this open community memorial.

This community mosque is a federally registered charity since 1984 We operate on the kind and generous donations of our brothers and sisters, so we are encouraging you to kindly help us keep the mosque functioning and moving forward. We have broken down our yearly expenses to a daily one and are humbly requesting our community to sponsor one day of the year which amounts to $420.00. We thank you for your generosity and may Allah elevate you and your family in this world and the next.
